Liability for links
In a court ruling of May 12, 1998 "Liability for links" (312 O 85/98), the Regional Court of Hamburg clearly ruled that a party providing a link to the content of a linked web site is jointly liable for the content of that linked site; this can only be avoided if the party expressly distances itself from that content.
